I played this Concerto when I
won the Hungarian Radio Competition in 1982. But this does not mean
anything concerning of the newer approach in work, just that I
love this piece overall! | Brahms Violin Concert D major Op. 77, Georg Hanson, Hungarian State Orchestra, Congress Center Budapest - HUNGARY |

| Playing on the Sibelius Competition
it was an obligation this wonderful, sparkling phenomenom, this Rondo.
To study in such age is a nightmare, but also a nice occesion to
understand Mozart's principals. | Mozart C Major Rondo, Kv. 373 - Concentus Hungaricus, Academy Grand Hall - 1986 |
| | Mozart E major Adagio, Kv. 261 - Academy Grand Hall - 1986 | | 1985
December: This was the third round, but not the last on the Sibelius
Competition. Still a Bartok 2nd was waiting for me. Okko Kamu was a
fantastic help, I am still grateful to him after decades. | Sibelius
Violin Concerto Op. 47 D minor, dedicated to Franz vom Vecsey -
Sibelius Competition Final, Okko Kamu, Helsinki City Orchestra,
Finlandia Hall, Helsinki, FINLAND |
| The
legendary meeting with one of my leading IDEAL in my life: Maestro
Simonov. His Artistic Heights, omnipresent stream of joy, faultless,
compromissless will in work led me also special heights than never
before. Thank God we still work a lot nowadays too.

| After
three hours terrible rain, instead of a nice open air venue, we played
in a small church. Was almost no play to play a whole bow - special
condition...:-) | Beethoven D major Violin Concerto Op. 61 - Janos Kovacs, Hungarian State Orchestra, Sarospatak - Church | | III. mvmt - part 2 | | | | | | | iii. mvmt - part 1 | | |
